💓Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded.👀👂⼲- Pediatric ENT💓

E- Ear
N-Nose
T-Throat

These technologies can make life easier, can let us touch people we might not otherwise. You may have a child with a birth defect and be able to get in touch with other parents and support groups, get medical information, the latest experimental drugs. These things can profoundly influence life. I'm not downplaying that.

💓“When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.” - Infant Cancer💓

Cancer, of any type, is terrible. We don’t realize what is actually feels like until it happens to ourselves. It shatters the person mentally and physically who are going through it. All the emotion we go through and the strength we need to build up is hard. We don’t understand how bad it really is. When you’re dealing with cancer, a daily dose of inspiration may make a big difference in your outlook on life. Share these inspiring words with a fighter in your life to lift them higher during their cancer journey. A collection of cancer quotes for all who have survived it, fighting it and the ones who are no more in this battle anymore. Respect to all!

❤‍ “For good health’s sake, run, jump, and shake.”- Pediatric Cardiology

❤‍ “We’re in a situation now where weight and extreme weight and heart disease is the biggest killer in this country today.”
The medical literature tells us that the most effective ways to reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and many more problems are through healthy diet and exercise. Our bodies have evolved to move, yet we now use the energy in oil instead of muscles to do our work.

You can put a kidney in your body - and somewhere down the line, your body might reject it.- Pediatric Nephrology

It's a common myth that athletes and other highly active people need the protein from meat and dairy to fuel their activities and build and repair muscles and other bodily tissues. In fact, there is growing evidence that consumption of too much protein can lead to very serious health issues, including kidney disease, osteoporosis, and cancer. The active body can get all the protein it needs from a diverse, 100% plant-based diet.We say that one gets cancer, or a cold, or kidney disease. One would never think to say that one is cancer. But we say that one is depressed,or bipolar, or schizophrenic. A disease of the body is a condition. But a disease of the mind, we think, is a state of being. We no longer believe, as we did 250 years ago, that the mentally ill are animals, but we are not yet ready to grant that they are fully human either.

Life is not over because you have diseases. Make the most of what you have, be grateful-Pediatric Endocrinology

Pediatric endocrinology is a medical subspecialty dealing with disorders of the endocrine glands, such as variations of physical growth and sexual development in childhood, diabetes and many more.
By age, pediatric endocrinologists, depending upon the age range of the patients they treat, care for patients from infancy to late adolescence and young adulthood.
The most common disease of the specialty is type 1 diabetes, which usually accounts for at least 50% of a typical clinical practice. The next most common problem is growth disorders, especially those amenable to growth hormone treatment. Pediatric endocrinologists are usually the primary physicians involved in the medical care of infants and children with intersex disorders. The specialty also deals with hypoglycemia and other forms of hyperglycemia in childhood, variations of puberty, as well other adrenal, thyroid, and pituitary problems. Many pediatric endocrinologists have interests and expertise in bone metabolism, lipid metabolism, adolescent gynecology, or inborn errors of metabolism.

“It only takes a split second to smile and forget, yet to someone that needed it, it can last a lifetime.”-Pediatric Dentistry

“A smile remains the most inexpensive gift I can bestow on anyone and yet its powers can vanquish kingdoms.”Smiling is healthy, smiling is beautiful, and smiling is contagious. Whether you’re proud of your pearly whites or feel they could use a bit of an upgrade, smiling brings joy to you and to those around you. The point is, everyone could use a smile, even if it only lasts for a while.

Small steps every day. Every small step counts. You might not reach your goal today but that is okay.-Pediatric Radiotherapy

Cancer is that awful word we all fear when we go to the doctor for a physical exam, but in that brief dark moment we hear it the world we live in and the people we share it with begin to illuminate things we did not even pay attention to.
"What Cancer Cannot Do"
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories

“Tricking” the nervous system is ok provided you exploit that neurological window of opportunity by applying the right stress afterwards- Pediatric Physiotherapy

Activity heals, not so much by what it does to tissue, but by what it does to the mind. Once safety is assured, the body has less interest in whatever pain messages are coming from the tissue. The tissue itself may still be torn or inflamed, but the brain’s self-generated opiates moderate the sensation and our attention is free to turn elsewhere.
Motor control = taking the smallest muscle involved and training it at 10% of MVC with every effort to turn off everything else with the view that this muscle is inordinately important.

We are all born with a unique genetic blueprint, which lays out the basic characteristics of our personality as well as our physical health and appearance... And yet, we all know that life experiences do change us. - Pediatric Genetics

“Human beings are ultimately nothing but carriers-passageways- for genes. They ride us into the ground like racehorses from generation to generation. Genes don't think about what constitutes good or evil. They don't care whether we are happy or unhappy. We're just means to an end for them. The only thing they think about is what is most efficient for them.”

Eyes that do not cry, do not see - Pediatric Ophthalmologist

Visionaries are NOT special people. The gift of true vision requires only a willingness to open your eyes to first, find the horizon. Once fixated on the horizon comes the ability to see beyond, where the true magic of life exists.

It is easy to get a thousand prescriptions, but hard to get one single remedy- Pediatric Pharmacy

Before you treat a man with a condition, know that not all cures can heal all people. For the chemistry that works on one patient may not work for the next, because even medicine has its own conditions.

Don't think of it as pain. Think of it as an interesting session that requires all your attention-PERINATOLOGY

Perinatologist: An obstetrical subspecialist concerned with the care of the mother and fetus at higher-than-normal risk for complications. Since the perinatal period, depending on the definition, starts at the 20th to 28th week of gestation and ends 1 to 4 weeks after birth, a perinatologist logically could be a obstetrician or pediatrician but, in practice, a perinatologist is an obstetrician. The comparable area of pediatrics is neonatology. A high-risk baby might be cared for by a perinatologist before birth and by a neonatologist after birth.

No oxygen No life!!!! Pediatric Respiration

“The sense of respiration is an example of our natural sense relationship with the atmospheric matrix. Remember, respiration means to re-spire, to re-spirit ourselves by breathing. It, too, is a consensus of many senses. We may always bring the natural relationships of our senses and the matrix into consciousness by becoming aware of our tensions and relaxations while breathing. The respiration process is guided by our natural attraction to connect with fresh air and by our attraction to nurture nature by feeding it carbon dioxide and water, the foods for Earth that we grow within us during respiration. When we hold our breath, our story to do so makes our senses feel the suffocation discomfort of being separated from Earth's atmosphere. It draws our attention to follow our attraction to air, so we inspire and gain comfort. Then the attraction to feed Earth comes into play so we exhale food for it to eat and we again gain comfort. This process feels good, it is inspiring. Together, we and Earth conspire (breathe together) so that neither of us will expire. The vital nature of this process is brought to consciousness when we recognize that the word for air, spire, also means spirit and that psyche is another name for air/spirit/soul.”
